    I need some help

I was asked this question by a friend and I do not know anything about Olympus cameras, so if you could give me some advice I will pass it on, Jeff

Question..... My wife has a birthday coming up and has an old Olympus OM-1 with a lot of extra lenses. She would like to have a new digital Olympus so she could use her old lenses. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ON THIS?

    Re: I need some help

Jeff I guess you know you will need an adapter and will have to shoot MF. The biggest complaint I hear is the small VFers on the Olys and no focus screen makes it hard to focus. The E3 and E5 have bigger finders so they work better. Also there is the x2 crop factor so her 50mm will be 100mm. But yes it can be done. I have tried it, on a 510. I really didn't have to much trouble focusing but I wouldn't try shooting sports. Great for macro work though.
