FL50 or FL50R?

I am going to purchase an external flash for my E510. Now I was wondering what the difference is between these two.

I have heard that if I dont have an E3 then the FL50R is not worth it cause the wireless option on the R model only works with the E3 and that is the only difference between the 2 flashes.

You are right the FL-50R only works with the E3.

Thats what I thought. Thanks. I will go with the FL-50.
