Hi
In another thread I was just reading, there was a discussion on how CCD and CMOS sensors are 'nothing but' photon counters while it is the color filter that separates the colors. But this is done by considering light as a wave with a wavelengt, as opposed to a particle in shape of a photon. This made me wonder - what is the color of photons?
And where will a brown photon end up in the sensor? In the Red, Green or Blue cup? Or do brown photons always come in groups? In that case I guess yellow photons always come in pair? Or do they split themselves just before they pass the color filter? Sounds a bit schizophrenic. Or, what?
Would it be possible to take a picture of a photon?
