Trying to make SATA drives work with a USB adapter so I can verify the contents and work on rebuilding my desktop machine.
If I can recover data off the C drive ... the main partition seems to have vanished thanks to the "recovery" software on the EISA partition.
Meanwhile I've verified a 250G old drive still spins up, but I need to back up some data from it and the laptop is full.
AAARGH

Of course there's few photos for the 24hours - hammering hardware takes precedence.
