Me too. A few days ago (yes, once again on NPR), I heard about Catalog Choice. It's a free service where you can request not to receive catalogs from a lot of different places. Register for an account, select the catalogs and you're done. It's best to enter your customer number on the back of the catalog, but I tried several of them both ways just now and I should stop seeing them in 10 weeks, they say.
Benefits - less stuff to haul out to the recycling bin each week, stores save money by not printing and mailing catalogs you might not even look at, and less wasted paper. A few of these catalogs are from places I regularly buy from but I don't need the catalog, just the website. Wish B&H was on here, they mail out those huge catalogs once in awhile which I don't need.
I only wish there was something like this for credit card offers - how many times is AT&T going to send me a final notification on their latest deal?![]()

What's even worse is that they've somehow gotten ahold of my telephone number (Argg...). And they're exempt from the Do Not Call law.
