Re: Protecting Wood in a Sauna?

Sauna wood needs a finish that handles heat and humidity without releasing fumes. Oil-based or wax finishes designed for saunas are ideal. You can find suitable products at https://www.paintlab.ie/collections/sauna that protect wood while keeping it breathable. Apply thin coats and ensure good ventilation during application. Avoid regular varnishes葉hey can crack under high heat.
