The gfs wants to blow up a major coastal storm around the 28th-30th of October. The cut-off low is not the storm that will cause this although the moisture from it, the caribbean disturbance will help with the coastal storms development. Accuweather is hinting at this as well, whats alarming is the huge amount of cold air that will drop all the way to the gulf coast, 40s for highs in alabama, tennesee, kentucky, carolinas? And maybe major snow for interior northeast and mid atlantic while heavy rain and strong winds attack the coast.
This is well in advance and i will keep my eye on it thats for sure, the nao is gonna be going negative and every time it does, there is usually some type of eastern storm that occurs. But we shall see.
