Local radio host brought this up this afternoon and with one or two examples I thought so what...but then he brought in at least 6 and maybe more examples.
Most of the links will be from extreme right wing hosts but you'll get the idea.

I suppose its to show what a caring individual he is.
Maybe the first time was real and he or probably his campaign manager got good feedback for it so they decided to run with it and didn't think any one would notice.

Sort of like taking a good pic and people liked it so you take it over and over and over again.
