    Morning or Night?

This is something I have been wondering for a long time. I was born around 8:30 in the AM, I don’t mind at all to get up early to get going. There are folks that don’t like to get up early for anything. My question is this, if you were born in the morning does that make you more adept to get up and get going and the opisite if you were born late afternoon or at night? Any thoughts on this?

    Re: Morning or Night?

I have not a clue on anything scientific but I was born at 11:57pm and I'm very much a night person I hate mornings. I really don't think when you are born has anything to do with being a night or morning person.

    Re: Morning or Night?

Interesting thought. I have no idea what time I was born. When I was in high school, I was a night owl in the summers. It go to the point that my sleep cycle got reversed and I almost became nocturnal. It made for some rough mornings once school started in the fall. Now that I'm older, I'm lucky to see 10:00p.m. and if I sleep past 7:00a.m. I feel like I have wasted half the day. My alarm goes off at 4:00a.m. now, and I like to be to the gym by 5:15 to start my day.

Even when I worked 2nd shift, I liked to be up by 8:00.

    Re: Morning or Night?

    Depends on the morning.

I was born at 10:33 a.m. and have no problem getting up early or staying up late but it's hard to do both! I work a typical 8 to 5 and during the week I'm not up much earlier than I need to be to get out the door on time but have no problem getting up at 4:00 to do something fun on the weekends. With the band, I can stay up until about the same time (contrary to popular belief not partying but playing and then dealing with several hundred pounds of gear). But that doesn't happen on the same day.

    Re: Morning or Night?

I was born at 1 PM in the afternoon. I'm much more of a morning person than night person: I prefer to hit the hay and start fresh.

That theory sounds like a stretch.

No idea when I was born.
    I am a night owl, I don't do mornings.

Thanks for the feedback. I do think there is a correlation to it, I don't know if somebody has done a study on it.
