How to Memorize Adjective Order in English

What is the correct order of adjectives in English before the name? How to remember the sequence of characteristics, such as design, size, age, shape, color, appearance, material and meaning, in order to be unique in everyday speech?

Re: How to Memorize Adjective Order in English

The correct order of adjectives in English is important for the correct construction of sentences. The standard order is as follows: first come the adjectives expressing opinion or evaluation (e.g. "beautiful"), then come the size (e.g. "big"), age (e.g. "old"), shape (e.g. "round"), color (e.g. "red"), origin (e.g. "Italian"), material (e.g. "wooden"), and finally the purpose (e.g. "cooking"). Mnemonic devices can be useful for remembering the order. For more information, see resource what is the order of adjectives .
