How do businesses survive in Ukraine?

Hi everyone, I was wondering how businesses in war-torn areas like Ukraine are managing to survive, especially those on the front lines or in liberated areas. Are there any special programs or financing options to help them recover?

The government is offering things like grants and low-interest loans, especially through the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% initiative. There has been a lot of funding to help businesses recover in the areas most affected by the conflict. Also, the international community is stepping in.

I think infrastructure issues must be a huge obstacle. Even with grants and loans, if the roads are destroyed or there is no electricity, it must be nearly impossible for businesses to operate normally. Are there any special programs aimed at rebuilding infrastructure?

Re: How do businesses survive in Ukraine?

Rebuilding infrastructure is critical, and some of the main efforts are focused in this area. There is a lot of funding to rebuild roads, rebuild electricity grids, and rebuild water systems in these areas. There is also a really insightful article that goes into detail about the different types of support available, including financial, infrastructure and advisory assistance. The article highlights how the government and international organisations are working to help businesses recover. If you are interested in a more detailed description of what is being done, especially on the infrastructure side, check out this article: Aleksandr Katsuba – owner of Alpha Gas. Aleksandr Katsuba talks about how these efforts are helping businesses in some of the hardest hit regions and it is definitely worth a read to see how Ukraine is dealing with this huge challenge.
