I'll add senseless to that. I liked him a lot as well.

Oddly enough, the movie I remember him for was A Knight's Tale, a kind of goofy, far-fetched medieval action-adventure love story told with a rock & roll soundtrack.

On paper, there is no way I should like that flick, but it's one of my favorites, mostly because of his character...

Heath Ledger Requested Wake Up Call Day After Death
    January 24th, 2008 at 7:55 am

Even more proof that this was a terrible, terrible accident. Film director Shekhar Kapur has said that he was due to meet Heath Ledger the day after he passed and was even supposed to supply a wake up call in the AM. He did. But it was too late.

“I last spoke to him the night before he died,” said Kapur, who directed the Australian actor in The Four Feathers. I had just arrived in New York [from London]. He said he could not see me that night but really wanted to meet me the next day. He made me promise that I would call him in the morning and wake him up. I tried. Little did I know that his soul had already left his body.”

I know this will get easier as all things do the more time passed. But each day I wake up as shocked as I was the moment I found out. I did a local newspaper interview yesterday and they asked me about Heath and compared it to Anna Nicole. I said the two were absolutely nothing alike. With Anna, it was almost expected. I wasn’t shocked. I just felt for her daughter who she left behind. Heath is completely out of the blue. And I can’t stop feeling like this shouldn’t be. I’m almost waiting for it to be undone.

People are beginning to bring Michelle Williams flowers to offer their condolences.

It sucks, but not to make light of his death I thought we would be talking about Britney Spears death before I would have ever thought of him.
