    Hardest decision you made today?
Is 1 in the afternoon to late to make coffee? I've been back and forth, now it's 2, and I'm going to make some.

Mine was red shorts or blue ones to teach a SCUBA class. I have no idea which I ended up picking since I can't see colors and my daughter wasn't there to tell me.

Turkey cutlets for dinner. Grill or saute? Grill won out. I guess my life isn't too complicated...

I'm with you, Steve. My toughest decision was to walk to the grocery store to buy a Boboli for dinner or not. Laziness won out :)

Mine had to do with (someone's) dinner too.

Clean a foie gras liver and set it to cure, or leave it for tomorrow. Tomorrow means I will have to 86 it for a day, but cleaning it means another 40 minutes to an hour of work since I forgot to take it out of the refrigerator when I got to work.

Needless to say, I cleaned it and set it in cure. Nothing is worse than walking into a restaurant and the first thing they tell you is what they are out of.

And as far as coffee goes, I usually don't even have my first cup until 12:30 or 1 - so I vote thumbs up!

Didn't Daley Jr. outlaw it? Maybe your restaurant isn't in the city or it hasn't taken effect yet?

    Yes, you are correct.

We had Foie on the menu up until the ban took effect, then removed it to comply. Now it simply isn't for sale - we give it away to guests who would like it with the menu item "the cracker," a brioche crostini with plum compote and a booze glaze (not unlike hoisin sauce). We'll see how that goes, as this is only the second week that it has been offered. You would think people would balk at an $18 piece of brioche, but I can't keep it in stock.

Whether to go and make a point to the boss of an incompetent that's wasted a week of my time, or just to swallow the 4 hours I put in today fixing the problem he created and didn't have a clue how to fix - or even what the problem was.

Conclusion: find a nice quiet corner and tell the incompetent what I've found, how I fixed it, and then see if he has any glimmerings of comprehension.

    Then make another haed decision.

Whether to brew Dunkin Donuts coffee or just one cup of my beloved Starbucks, there isn't enough left for the usual amount. Good thing I keep the DD as spare in the freezer for visitors.

    last night...

wheter to make mozzarella and tomato salad to go with our shrimp salad, or was the shrimp sufficient. Made the tomato salad as well, dinner was quite tasty.

Today..whether or not to go swimming this afternoon, I suppose it depends on if the girls behave while I get my work done.

JETA....here's to hoping you have to worry about coffee

You mean rain? I read about that stuff once but it's only a vague memory. Funny how the guy in the desert has rain, but the midwesterner hasn't seen it in awhile!... I'd walk, but I'm wierd.

Biggest decision today was whether I should climb the hill on my single speed bike 4 or six times today on my ride home from work.

6 won out. I love getting looks from the home owner as I pass their house going up the hill, then going down, then I go back up, back down, a bunch of times.

They might not let you out of a small windowless room, no photos!

My hardest decision today was how low to set the threshold on the Computer that controls the A/C. I settled on 75F as a good option between comfort and economy.
