Got home from visiting friends in London just as Big Ben rung in the New Year.

Found Tess cat outside (we left her safely inside a few hours ago) and after a few head buffs and a talking to (from her) took her inside to get away from the fireworks.

All's quiet now, and we're settling down for a New Year, hopefully better than the last one.
Mind you, if the next company I work for lasts 11 years before going into administration I won't be complaining too much

Oh, and I dashed out with the GH-1 and E-P1 and tried to capture fireworks - bleargh.
Should have taken out the tripod, should have put another layer on so I wasn't shivering, should have switched the GH-1 to MF mode not AF, probably shouldn't even bother sharing this ... GH-1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGxgJo8hZPQ

On the other hand, the E-P1 seemed to do a better job, just switched to video mode and default everything.
