    garage heaters and patio heaters

Two heater questions, I'm hoping can get answers one both in one post! We are 1.5 years into enjoying our new build and two things we want to follow up on are installing an infratech patio heater and also figuring out heat options for the garage.

For the patio we had the electrician wire for future placement of a heater and now it is time to bite the bullet and choose one. I really like the small slim scale of the infratech models. But I don't know anyone who has had them for all that long who can attest to how good they are. The covered porch is 250 square feet with a seating area at one end and a table in the centre. There is a switch in the kitchen to turn it on/off but obviously nothing ordered or installed yet.

For our garage it is an attached garage we foolishly did not plan ahead to have heating in. I really want more consistent temperature control in there but I have no idea what our options are at this point. The space was insulated so it is warmed than just being outside but not by much! What options might we have?

Do you have natural gas or propane or just electric? How big is the garage, what climate zone are you in and what temperature do you want?

Heating the entire garage seems unnecessary. Building a closet in the garage and using a small heater with a recirculating fan on the timer would do the job. This is how I solved my problem, but just in case, I bought https://www.thefurnaceoutlet.com/fur...-furnaces.html heater that can heat the entire garage All items need space to hang freely.

Re: garage heaters and patio heaters

I'm torn between different types, from radiant to convection heaters, and wondering which one strikes the right balance between efficiency and cost.

I had tried space heaters in the past, but they seemed to increase my energy bill without providing the warmth I craved. On the other hand, central heating systems, although efficient, can be a budget nightmare.

So here's the question: What is the best home heater you've ever encountered, and how does it perform in terms of performance and cost-effectiveness?

Hello. I bought an infrared heater for myself. This is the golden mean between heaters and central systems. I found that it heats objects directly rather than just the air, meaning it doesn't waste energy on unused space. In addition, operating costs were reasonable. The website had detailed descriptions of the best heater for home www.ukplanettools.co.uk/heating/household-heating/ , customer reviews and even a comparison tool which helped me make an informed decision. Delivery was fast and the packaging ensured the heater arrived in perfect condition. It's incredible how efficiently it heats a room without consuming excessive energy.
