    Border Patrols Begin... Against Canada!

As millions of illegals pass freely over the wide open Mexican-US border, some with help from the Mexican government, our fantastic border patrol has decided that we must defend the border, you know, the one between Canada and the US!

"The propeller-driven drones, called Predators, will begin patrolling U.S. airspace along the border with Canada by September and will fly day and night, said Scott Baker, chief patrol agent of Customs and Border Protection, an arm of the Department of Homeland Security.

Here's the biggest laugh (or cry):

""Just one of the wrong people getting through, driving through our border area, could spell catastrophe," Baker said. "So, it is a concern."

Thank goodness terrorists don't know anything about Mexico! Our government is so out-of-touch with reality, they live in a world all their own..

Well it's about time! I'm sick and tired of those danged Canadians tunneling thru the snow undetected and taking our jobs!

Really, this is just getting silly. I was watching the news the other day, and even Bush's own party thinks he's going off the deep end.

Guys guys! You're looking at this all wrong!

This is not about border security. It's about military contracts. The Republican/Miltary/Industrial Complex is smelling a likely defeat in 2 years, and so they're pulling out all the stops on militray contracts before they lose their partnership status in 08.

When viewed through the Money-Hungry Lens, this makes perfect sense!

Yes, we, canadiens are dangereux, n'est-pas? We will invade and have you all eating poutine with bacon, eh? We will change your flag to zee maple leaves and le merveilleux fleur de lis. Monsieur Rick Mercer will be your Président running your country from our national igloo. Your eagle will be chomped on by our beaver too, eh? Of course, zee national sport will be hockey and beer will of course be duh national drink. You will naturellement need to learn how to speak French as well as whatever that language is that you try to write and speak.

    Vive le continent de Canada!

Okay, Honestly, Everyone in Canada could illegally immigrate over to America. Canadians are cool, And Most of them actually speak English, and have skills other than "I build deck for cheap", Learn ENGLISH! Like if I ever move to, or stay in a country for a long period of time, IM GONNA LEARN THE LANGUAGE! Thats just one of the many complaints that I have about Mexicans illegally immigrating.

Damn..... no more sneaking into the US for beer and wings in Buffalo...no more trips across at Sault St Marie for groceries when I am up there skiing.... no more running through the forrest nekkid screaming obscenities as the Americans after drinking too much beer and smoking too much....umm... what's that stuff called again =P. It'll all be caught by unmanned drone flying over me now.

I guess I will have to content myself with crossing legally and declaring all the goods I bought in the US so that the Canadian government can re-tax me and get their share of money I spent abroad.

As for french... I refuse to speak french although I can understand it reasonably. The french spoken in Quebec is unfortunately like the English spoken in newfoundland. Very similar to it's original form but so fast and with so many local expressions that most others have no idea what's being said if you aren't "local"

Québec French is often a mix of Canadian French, localisms and occasionally a bit of "joual" and despite the complaints from non-locals, even people from France, it is easy to understand in most areas of the province.

Now, northern Ontario French is really a difficult and distinct version of French.

I did a journalistic style extensive and exclusive shoot of John Candy, shortly before his death. A very nice person.

I have to admit that our (Canadian) version of "country" as it applies to music is not really at all close or similar to the U.S. Gordon Lightfoot is about as close as we come and that is completely different and rather repetitive in tune.

    hahahaha

pretty soon there will be talk of a FENCE!!

I have a better idea, WAY cheaper - lets just fence off the white house.

Seriously, it sounds funny but it is a forboding sign of USA xenophobia...we aren't allowed to hate women or blacks anymore, so now it's immigrants and gays? Wait a minute, I better put this one on the BACK burner....

Immigration, legal and otherwise, is the backbone of my industry and culture - it's nice of the government to work actively against my industry and culture (restaurants). Not that I have that many illegal canadian immigrants knocking on my door for a job, but that's not the point, is it??

What a waste of my money.
