    Best blender ever...

This is the best blender ever. Not that I've actually spent a whole lot of time thinking about the subject but it seems pretty obvious to me. Naturally, be sure to watch the videos under "Don't Try This At Home"; particularly the one involving Bic lighters. Oh, and what's that, an iPhone?

Personally, I'd like to see the Bic lighters AND the glow sticks simultaneously, but that's probably just me.

I saw one where he did a bunch of glass marbles. They turned to powder, much like the "diamonds".

the best one is where he blends a video camera that films its own demise. they then attempt to return the blended video camera to the best buy, claiming they tripped and the camera fell into the blender.

Do you want me to pass that on to the company? My dad works there now and has gotten to know the owner pretty good.

And yes, those blenders are awsome!

Its actually a better story than that. The manager was in on, and when Blendtec got the blender they got the "do whatever you want to destroy it, and return it for a new one" warranty policy. So the company employess who brought it back tried to convice the front employees to exchange it for them.

I can't remember if it worked or not, I'll have to check with my dad

That would be great, but the term "fluorescent napalm" comes to mind, LOL.

    Sent!

I also mentioned to him (and gave a link to the thread) that we'd like to see either a P&S camera blended, or perhaps an SLR would be fun to see.

Image them blending a 600 F4 or some beast of a lens like that!

Crazy story - reminds me of the movie Blair Witch Project. I heard (could be rumor) that they bought a camera from Circuit City, shot the movie, then returned it to get their money back since their budget was so small. Great idea for having the camera film it's own demise, I'll have to look for that. I don't know why it's so fascinating, but it is!
