D300 - has no video recording, but the D300s does.
    D7000 - a smaller form factor of the D300s
D700 - a pro body in the form factor of the D300, comes with a full frame (35mm) sensor.

I recently wrote a blog post comparing the D7000 vs. D300s (vs. D90) on my photography blog Picturing Change. Sorry it doesn't address the D700 too, but hopefully it will be of some help to you:

The only camera in your list which supports full HD video recording is D7000. D700 and D300 do not support full HD video recording.

The D300 and D700 do not have any recording features at all. The D300s has video, as does the D7000.

    I'd go with the D7000.
