Help needed please

As a new diabetic I'm suffering with my eyes and I own a D200 and a D80
what I'd like to know is there any way of monitoring either camera whilst doing close ups
I can then check on a big screen for pin sharp focus

if im not mistaken, you can use camera control pro to see instant feedback on a computer/laptop after you take a picture. you can even use it to adjust the settings on the camera.

ok cheers Jeffp I realise that I cant have "live" but that would be very handy to have an instant check on a big screen

If you upgrade to the new D300 you can get live view on the much better screen on the back of the camera, and on the computer with camera control pro. You can also connect it to an HDTV via HDMI cables and view it there.

I reccomend going to a camera shop and checking out the D300's LED screen.

If you can find a camera shop that has one to play with

thankfully Nikon has been able to keep up with demand much more efficiently than in the past with this release, so it might not be as hard as it used to be.

The LCD on the D300 is simply.... unbelievable. The same number of pixels that takes up the entire 2.5" LCD on the D200 or D80 is a mere 1/4 of the LCD on the D300. It really needs to be seen to be believed.

Thanks for all the replies Ive playe with the 300D very impressive but still very expensive over here so I will wait for the prices to drop
in the mean time Im thinking of one of these ,I made a phone call and you can use a bigger monitor with it !
