    D80 Help

    Hey guys,

So just about the time I decided to start saving for a full frame, D700 or D3, my D80 decided to start acting up. My shutter, no matter what I set it at is shooting no higher then what sounds like 1/20. However, its still exposing according to what I'm setting the shutter.

My question is what I should do? Is the shutter going bad? Is there an internal battery going bad? Will Nikon cover it if its a shutter issue?

    Halp?!?

I would start by doing a reset of the camera. Then see if it still does it. you might have set something that is causing the slow shutter.

Dumb questions ....ore you on shutter priority or monuol.

If it sounds like 1/20th but you get proper exposure, it isn't 1/20th, unless set 1/20th.

There's letter not working on my keybord.

I had tried to reset it before and it hadn't worked... but it just fixed it. Thanks guys... Just goes to show that technology doesn't always work the first time. At least now I have a camera to use till I can save money.
