    You little (musk)rat...

I'm dogsitting for my aunt, and going to her house from work goes right by the forest preserve I've been going at lunch. I figured I had enough time to stop, even though I was already at low light.

I standing on a little bridge over the pond attempting to get in flights of the swallows (LOL, ended up with about 200 shots of blurs) when I heard a splash next to me and looked down to see a muskrat entering the water like, right next to me. Got three shots before he saw me and vanished with a splash.

300mm, uncropped, he was close to me

Well done. A muskrat is on my list of animals to capture. #3 is my favorite.
