You guessed it, more deer!

This will be my last deer pic post for a while.

I walked up on this little guy while getting to the spot I wanted to sit for the night. I surprised him, but he didn't seem to mind much. He walked to within 15 or 20 yards of me. I made no attempt to hide from him, and actually moved out into the open so there was nothing between us. He would look up at me for a few seconds, then go back to eating. He eventually worked his way down the field.





After a while, the deer started coming out of the woods for the evening. First some doe, then this guy followed. I didn't get any close up shots of him.



This little guy came out after the sun dipped below the horizon.



Then this big boy came out to see what was going on.





It was dark enough out that I decided to see how things would look with my flash.





A couple more without flash. These were taken at 1/10 second.





Finally a shot of some of the ladies with the flash. It's still pretty dark, but I kind of like it that way.

Very nice shots Michael. I like them all but that last one is real different, kind of spooky but there's something about it...very neat.

is that similar to the "deer in the headlights look" ? hahaha probably blinded them with the flash ...

you have quite the spot for some fantastic opportunities ... some nice sized bucks there too ..
