    Yet more insects...

    Macro shots from the tamron 100-300 5-6.3macro. Can't find any info on this lens anywhere. It's a bit on the slow side, and low light is impossible.

    good wok payn...way to work with what you have. Even though the lens is slow you still do great work with it.

    Thanks guys.

    Z, I have like 6 lenses, just got this one cause a friend was selling it for $50. You never know about a lens until you try it, so went out and tested it today. It was a good investment for what I got from it. I won't bore you guys with all of it.

    $50 buck is a steal and you got your $$ worth definately! Did you by any chance shoot at f11 or wider? The closer the subject to lens distance, the shalloer the DOF will be at given apertures

    Paul, I have a bad habit of just about always shooting wide open with whatever lens I'm using. Next time, I'll try to close it down some, considering it's this sharp at f/5, f/11 may just change my habits.
