Yellowstone Traffic Jam

I made the mistake of traveling through Yellowstone last weekend on opening day of National Parks Week, and the touristas were out in force and hogging the roads!

My one and only visit to Yellowstone was on motorcycles. Sceenes like this, though with elk, were very memorable.

I was in Yellowstone last July. Here's a couple of bison photos I took while there. Be sure to go to the Lamar Valley if you want to see lots of bison!

Thanks for looking/commenting Billy, BB & Loupey. I'll take a bison-jam over a regular traffic jam anyday! Hopefully spring advances soon, as the bison in the park are showing an awful lot of rib. We just had another 2 ft of snow and I am 3 hrs and several thousand feet lower than YNP, so I can imagine they may have received a lot more up there. Saw a grizzly bear while there, but was too far away to get a decent image.
