    Would you mind sharing how you took this shot, like was it the fruit of a "stalking session" or of "lying in wait". And also, I find the shooting angle a bit puzzling – were both of you down low? Since the camera is almost at eye-level from the red-bellied 'pecker...

    Took this photo at the Viera Wetlands. I was set up on the trail which is elevated from the waters edge. I saw him poking in and out and figured it wouldn't be long before some debris would fly out. Set the tri pod up and waited...took about 5 minutes!!
