    Ocracoke Egret

Saturday, in addition to being Dawn's birthday, was the family reunion on Ocracoke Island. One of my mother's cousins lives on Ocracoke and we normally go there in the summer. This year it was held later. While there, I took these shots. Pretty sure it's a Great White Egret - correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you my friend. I took a bunch of photo's of it sitting in a tree, but I was waiting for it to take off. When it did, I snapped these shots. These are full frame, and I must admit that I was quite pleased with them. Anticipating the action paid off for me.
