    Winter Beauty

I went out and took a few shots today although it was -28 cel here today with a stiff breeze. For many of these I was in drifts almost up to my waist, but I'll let you judge if it was worth it.

Great snow-scapes, Scott Huh...I don't envy you those temperatures...

    Thanks for sharing

I admire the way you used the slanting rays to capture and add contrast to snow scenes. Some of them seem a little dark to me, but I like them quite a bit.
I would be afraid to take my camera out in such weather, and especially when I brought it back into the warmpth.

Very nicely shot images! Great exposure and even better eye.

Thanks for the kind remarks guys.

Ron, I make sure the camera goes into a bag before going back into warmth. That allows it to warm up gradually and without getting condensation on it. Definitely a required precaution when going from extreme cold to warmth. I also keep several of those small dessicant packets in my camera bag at all times, the sort you get in shoe boxes and electronic boxes. My wife and kids know to save them for me.

    Wow those look frigid.

I like the "breaker" shot. Nice study of lighting, shapes, and textures.
