    Whitetails at sunset

    I took a drive around the backroads tonight after work.

    Well Michael ... with all these great photos you keep showing here I have told the wife that in a couple weeks we are taking a day trip out to mineral point area for a day of shooting ....

    Thanks everyone, for all the kind words. They are very much appriciated.

    Speed, the rim lighting on the first shot, it the reason I stopped the truck. I wish it was a little prominent, but I still like it. The second shot was a pretty quick grab shot, hand held at 500mm. I was really surprised that it wasn't blurry when I opened it up.

    Ben, send me a PM when you decide to make the trip to Mineral Point. I can give you some directions of places to go, or take you there myself if I don't have anything else going on that day.
