    Whitetail Buck..Rage Grunt

This is the king of the pack out of the Bucks I have been observing this rutting season. I've been watching this one closely and he is now the dominate Buck for the pack. This is one of the first times I have seen him out during the day. He was chasing a doe around, couldn't resist the temptation I guess..

This is what a "Rage Grunt" sounds like

Whitetail? Nice shots, but those look like Muley horns, don't they? Are you shooting from a tree blind? - TF

I wasn't aware that any deer, besides the mule, had forked horns. Just did a search on them - very interesting. It seems that DNA now suggests that the blacktail is the west coast evolution of the whitetail and the mule is result of a blacktail/whitetail cross. – TF
