    what-it-is ?

Spotted this guy near the side of a road, in a tree while driving. Naturaly, he took off when I stopped the car and flew to a tree perch futher away from me. To my surprise, he was joined by a buddy, and they shared the same perch side by each, but before I could get a shot they decided to move on, each going a seperate direction almost in unison.
In all the excitement I did manage to get one quick shot, but it's very heavily cropped and very poor quality - my guess is a Red Tailed Hawk ?

My bird book suggest it could be a juvenile eastern Red Tailed Hawk. Would need sharper picture to confirm. HTH.

    Cheers,
