    Another Broadbill Hummer

    Lot's of species of hummers in town, right now. I'll try and get a cross section. Until then, here's a Broadbill. I got a couple fairly good ones of him, this morning.

    Here's a quick post…they're still repairing the power from the storm. When all the trucks fire up, it curtails a lot of the photo opportunities for the birds. (I'll be switching to 'macro mode', soon )

    Broadbill Hummingbird Cyanthus latirostris

    His feathers are slicked down and darkened, due to the fact that it had just finished raining, the last of a few monsoon storms.

    Edit Note: Upon looking at the shot again, I think I cropped too closely to the head of the bird.
