    Weekend In The Backyard...

In the backyard this weekend with Ruffus Griffin. We both had our take on similar subjects. Here are a few of mine. He posted in the Critique Forum.

I love every one of them, but I agree the ant is my favorite. SHHHHH, but I don't EVER go to critique, so maybe your buddy can post here too

    Re: Weekend In The Backyard...

Thanks guys. It seems I've had a hard time getting started this Spring with my nature type photos. Hope to get over here more often with more images. N&W forum has really taken off with some great images. You regulars here should really be proud of what your doing on this forum.

Hey, that's the same ant you had on the same bud last year! Glad he's back (and you too).

My absolute favorite is #2. The color contrast, the delicate opening, DOF, and composition are all perfect! I would be proud to call that mine  But don't worry, I won't

This guy must be at least a first cousin. About the only difference is the time of day. Last years was at high noon and this one was late afternoon. The shadows are a dead giveaway. I really don't do much true nature or wildlife photography but I am amazed at what you guys have been turning out over here. Keep it up you have some great images that are being added to the PR tradition of outstanding photography.

The 2nd pic is pretty cool. It looks like "natures hot air baloon" is getting ready to unfold!!

Thank You! It is amazing the size of the bloom that comes out of that small pod. Very much like a butterfly as it emerges from it's cocoon.
