    A water fall

I sure have gained alot of respect for you nature photographers since I have taken up the hobby. I coundn't sneak up on a turtle if you put him in a cage. But the water fall wasn't going anywhere. I hope this is the right thread for this? This is Nature right?

I like this picture ... great shutter speed and flow of the water ... but the blowen out area on the left is very distracting as well as the trees in the background look overexposed also ... maybe try it again during a different time of day ?

I agree, great shot and spot on SSpeed, you may be able to bring the blown out area up a little with levels or Sat/Hue in your software, or as Ben says wait until a better time.

Shutter speed is spot on.I would like to see this taken in the late evening setting sun. This would provide a warmth to the lighting. Nice composition G'

    Re: A water fall

Thanks guys here's a quick edit, does it work? I can work on it some more? If you think it has a prayer. But I can go back. It's about an hours drive. To be honest I was leaning out on a ledge and had my tripod as far out as I could get.

    Re: A water fall

your edit is alot better than the original ... so much better without the blown out area on the left

still would make a point of making it back there either early morning or late afternoon ... it is a very cool waterfall ... and you really nailed the shutter speed as i and others said ... well worth another visit with better light ...
