    Now that what i call going down for a capture Im sure you had your elbows on the ground for this one .

    Nothing wrong with photographing common subjects! I just choose to chase hard ones, but do shoot the common ones too.

    I'd love to see a shot like this with all of the ducklings in sharp focus, do you have any?

    Yeah, and my chest, stomach, legs, ... Dress slacks and shirt on freshly mowed grass - hey, we gotta do what we gotta do (I've heard that one recently )! Seriously, this family was parked beneath a park bench so I was happy to shoot from a low perspective.

    Paul, unfortunately I erased the ones with the ducklings sharp. But, as close as I was, I couldn't get both the momma and kids within the same DOF.

    But I did get this one. I never really thought about how they look when they look up A shadow just passed overhead and she glanced up to see if it was a threat.

    Yeah, deep DOF isn't a technique I use too much either ;) I don't think it's even possible at a close range with telephotos?
