    A Walk in the Woods

Last weekend we did a little family outing to a nearby state park. It gave me an opportunity to capture a little of nature while on the walking trails.

Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Some of these images remind me of the Hocking Hills region.

    Love the last bark image!

Thanks Loupey. This was at Carter Caves State Park in north eastern KY. I did have my Columbus family with me for the weekend. I hope to post some of the wildflowers I encountered later.

We have been coming here for years and my four kids did indeed swing from every tree and climb over every rock as they were growing up. This was the first time to have one of the grand children on the same trails that that the kids had so much fun on when they were younger.

Re: A Walk in the Woods

Thanks Lori and Amber! My wife grew up just a few miles form this state park and it has been a favorite of ours for years. It's a wonder place to take the family for an afternoon or for the whole weekend as we did recently.
