A few more from this morning. The Pied-billed Grebe are cool - they can sink slowly on a whim - without diving!

The coots are fun to watch too - now you see them, now you don't!

Quetzal, thanks for looking and commenting! I'm rather partial to the meadowlark one as it is the closest I have been able to get - about 40' on foot

BB: that's terrific - a Ph.D. Ecology and Evolutionary Biology! She would be a great contributor here to shed light on some of the behavior that we'll capturing :thumbsup:
