    Vanguards

    These extremely tiny flowers are the first to bloom in my yard in spring. They're 1-2 inches in height, and each bloom is 1/4 of an inch wide or less. Wee insects love them.



    Taken in slightly shaded sunlight with the manual Olympus 90mm macro lens set to f11 or so. Square crop, B&W conversion & some color value level adjustment and that's about it.

    Thanks. Forgot that I also used a 25mm extension tube for this as well.
