    Turkey (Pook)

for those of you who have been following the turkey adventure we had this year in our field, i present you with the new mother of 4 babies! turns out the picture I posted the other day was a poult from a different mother, and Pook has 4 babies, still nice and fuzzy. They were rolling around in our garden the other morning when I woke up.

she and I had a long stare down to get this photo, as she was laying in the grass completely flattened out for about half an hour while I sat and waited (and got bitten by mosquitos).

apparently wild turkeys are a little harder to get photos of than domesticated turkeys

That is an excellent shot, but couldn't you add some feathers to her head and neck with PS?
