One of the things I wanted to do on my vacation this week was to take an afternoon and go out and take some pictures. So yesterday, my son who is 8 (armed with my old digital camera) and I with my Nikon D50, went for a hike/photo safari. I did some research of locations that might be cool to hike in the mild winter we are having here in NJ and came up with Monmouth Battlefield. It is a park now, where one of the largest battles of the American Revolution took place. NJ has a lot of battlefield locations as there were over 600 skirmishes/battles in NJ during the Revolution since the British were head quartered in NY and the Continental army in Philadelphia.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Scott
