Went out for a hike this afternoon with my girlfriend and had this little guy leading the way for about 15-20 minutes. Every time I tried to get closer, he would hop further ahead of us but, never flew off. Sorry, not the sharpest shots. Still need to work on that whole handheld thing with the 300

I think you did pretty well. I wouldn't have complained about images like this when I first started!
