    Tracks

I got out on a ski tour yesterday on my new Dynafit setup (oh yeah). The ski gear worked great! The snow was a little thin but I found some quality turns in an area with lots of different sheltered aspects so there's usually something that hasn't been hammered by sun/wind if you look hard enough.

Anyway, I found these tracks while heading up for another lap. I thought they were pretty interesting and somewhat of a mystery until my friends informed me they are from a snowshoe hare.

Very cool Matt. I love the play of light and shadow here and the tracks lead the viewer right into the image. Nicely done!

This is a lovely shot! It looks like the hare was taking his time -- his prints are beautifully clear and unhurried, leading us into the distant woods, and the light is perfect!
