    Tough morning

With storms rolling through and lots of wind it was a tough morning for bid photography. I did manage a couple of shots though. Both were taken with a Canon Rebel XTi and Sigma 500mm f/4.5 EX wide open at ISO 800. The Pine Warbler picture had a shutter speed of 1/80 sec and the LeConte’s Sparrow had a shutter speed of 1/125 sec.

Tough going but I am glad I dragged myself out of bed for the pre-word bird watching.

We're glad you dragged yourself too

Other than the dark bottom background in #2 - I love colors over the otherwise monotone background. Almost looks like a colorized B&W!

    Great stuff.

That pine warbler is great, but I am a huge fan of chasing warblers
