    Took a Stroll in the Woods Today

    Saw some stuff I couldn't catch, but these were some of the ones I did...

    What a brill day you had!

    I would of come home with the biggest of grins capturing those shots. But my favourite is the racoon. Oh i wish!!:thumbsup:

    Thank you. This is the first decent racoon shot I've gotten. They are nocturnal and while I see them occassionally, they are usually so quick to go into cover, that I never get much of a shot. This one walked away from me, turned around and came back and climbed a few feet up a tree a few feet in front of me, making sounds that I interpreted as "feed me." He/she seemed to be pretty young and I don't know if that's how they tell Mom and Dad its dinner time. I wondered if maybe some humans had been feeding him, but I was a about a mile into the wooods in a nature preserve. (Anyway, I didn't feed him.)

    Well I'm a Macro Man so I got to go with number 3, but they are all very nice. Very productive stroll. Thanks for posting always look forward to your images.

    Thank you. Armadillos are kinda tough to photograph -- they tend to like dark woods and root around with their heads down. I wish this one wasn't so "flashy," but the others are too dark.
