    Three macro shots.

The flower is an indoor plant my wife has in the window, the tree is in our front yard and the spider was crawling on the siding of our house. The spider is actually not much bigger than the eraser end of a pencil.

Mike, I am not much on trees and spiders but I do love the flower. Is there some kind of frosting effect going on there? It's soft but not in the oof kind of way....like its velvety if I touched it.....very pretty!

Image 3 works well. Great texture, tone. The rose is very soft.Maybe a bit more DOF needed?

    Re: Three macro shots.

Thanks guys. Regarding the flower, it was shot indoors without flash and handheld at f2.8 and 1/30 second. This should explain a few things.
