Thinking of my Canadian friends on N&W...

I really hope that you have had your last batch of snow and that spring is heading your way too It's been a long hard winter...

Spring has really hit Copenhagen in the last couple of days Daytime temperatures are soaring, not much below summer ones - the sun is shining, spring flowers are everywhere and suddenly all the little creepy crawlies have come out to play

TIME TO KICK OFF THE WINTER BOOTS AND GET THOSE MACRO'S OUT :7:

Please post a "snapshot" from Canada, so I can see how your winter/spring is coming along

Looking across the harbour at new Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Center in Vancouver, BC, Canada. My sister took this shot today with her blackberry. I "enhanced" it

Mostly rainy days here but should have a couple of days of sunshine before the rain starts again.

Mette, I love the backlight on her hair - lovely shot!

AE - I'm amazed that shot was taken with a Blackberry!
Any rain you're not getting is falling on south & east Ontario right now.

Will post some spring shots in as soon as the rain lets up enough ;-)

The jpeg I received looks kind of dull and not as colorful, but looks sharp and clean. I adjusted the contrast and color.

Oh, you can keep it there

Thanks Glad to hear/see that at least you two have come out from the snow! That's a nice Vancouver shot - great sky

But I would really like to see some more shots from Canada Alex, you are on the way to spring now, right? Scott's the one I'm worried is still buried in snow....

Nice shot Mette, she looks happy to be out in the sunshine.

No worries, our snow is rapidly melting away and although we will probably get a few more snowfalls they won't last. Spring has begun here finally!

Huh, Scott - the last I saw from you was a spider running on the snow

Any signs of spring flowers yet?

    Hi Mette,

Beautiful shot, the lighting is just great.

I posted a few macros somewhat recently, in this thread.

Spring has definetely arrived here, temepratures are climbing and sun does not set until much later. Many swallows have already returned back north and are preparing nests.

And already starting to see/listen to lots of this lately... :blush2:

Thanks, Alex Seems like you're even having more spring than me! Our swallows have not returned yet...

Great "hanky panky" photos I guess they must be what we call Canadian geese???

Still lots of snow to melt Mette although it will soon be gone. There aren't any flowers yet or budding leaves but the pussy willows are starting to show.

Re: Thinking of my Canadian friends on N&W...

We've had an inch of snow every day this week... it's all melted again by noon... but it's still falling.

I am simply refusing to shovel now because I firmly believe that if I do I will be empowering the snow =)

Great shots guys. The last few days in Vancouver have been okay but more rain in on the menu.

Scott and Jaedon, you poor people! How many months have you guys been shovelling snow now??? I bet you appreciate spring all the more, when it finally does arrive!

I got a little more caught up in driving around with the sun on my face than taking pictures lol. I guess I will be shooting more than driving today as the kids are off nor for Good Friday.

Jaedon, I'm still waiting for a shot from you

Alex, that's great Swallows and daff's - can't ask for much more! Great to see both in the same shot

So, is Scott the only one still stuck with snow and winter out there?

Nope, actually saw some butterflies on Sunday...

They are calling for snow tonight and tomorrow but it won't stay. Spring is definitely here.

Scott, that sounds great The butterflies that is! Not the snow...but I'm sure it's got the message by your demonstrative "non-shovelling action"

Ok here we go. Sorry about the delay Mette =p I should know better than to leave equipment in the car this time of year. We switch back and forth between vehicles too much.
