    Understatement for a coot!
    They will chase off anything that gets too near their young, and vigorously defend their patch of the lake against other coots with high speed charges.

    Wow! great shot. Did that coot cover that much distance in 1/500?
    Can you make the "water spouts" stand out a little more?
