    A taste of spring

It hit the mid 40's yesterday so I went for a drive to see what I could find. Lots of critters were out (deer, turkey, ducks, geese, coyote, hawks, eagles, songbirds and some bugs) but I didn't get any shots of them. What I was the most thrilled with finding was some GREEN! It was nice to see some green vegetation that wasn't a pine tree of some sort. It wasn't much, but it was a good sign. Of course, I woke up to 2" inches of fresh snow...

Yippie! Spring is right around the corner.

We still had snow on the ground all weekend; yet today the temps reached 70 degrees! That's too much too fast.

Come summer we'll all be wishing it was winter

Nice scene, Mike and presentation. Spring is right around the bend. . .I can't imagine where this winter has gone for us in N.Y. the mildest driest winter I can remember.

Thanks for looking and commenting Gary, Loupey and Rylan. The warmer weather was nice while it lasted. It was in the single digits this morning when I got up. I'm hoping it warms up again for the weekend. I love the winter, but I'm ready for spring.
