Swan Fight

Had a sort through my image CD's and came across these pictures( sorry exposure not great) of two mute swans fighting for their part of the river, it was quite a dramatic scene as i was sure that the swan underneath had met his fate, but alas he became the conquerer and claimed this section of the river. The flight one was of the looser leaving later that afternoon.

This was in May this year.

Hmmm, thats why i have held back on the fighting pics, as im sure people think "stupid woman, doesnt she know what they are really up to"! but i promise you all it was a fight, it had been brewing for a few days andwhen it started it went on and on and on, and i was sure that the bottom won was going to drown.

I can see it's a fight for who owns that area, but it looks otherwise to most people.
