Balancing photography and vacation is tough. My husband is not a photographer, but has no bounds of patience when it comes to getting up with me to shoot the sunrise.

Not to mention every single wildflower that presents itself. These guys were everywhere, like grass, but the light before the sun reached the valley floor was best.

This and the one at Mono Lake were my only successful sunrises. When I got up at Lake Tahoe, I found they gated and locked off the beach. :mad2: Bastiges.
