    Angry suneeshv's links are virus-infected

suneeshv has posted to all recent threads in this forum - don't click on the link!!! It will attempt to install a virus - fortunately, Bull Guard stopped it for me!

Loupey/Paul, just get rid of this thread as soon as suneeshv's posts have been removed.

    Re: suneeshv's links are virus-infected

AVG Free anti-virus (I love that price, free) stopped it for me.
Same warning of known attack site.
All 109 of his posts are deleted.
I'll leave Loupey to take down this thread.
Maybe worth leaving something as a warning to people.

That's great news, thanks! Wow, that guy was busy, it was "only" 89 posts when I first checked in a couple of hours ago....

    Re: suneeshv's links are virus-infected

    Thanks for the heads-up, Mette!

I'll leave this post up for a day so that people can be reminded of the potential dangers of the links. Generally, I don't click on the links unless they are by people who have been active and productive members of this site.

I was on for half an hour this morning and his posts went from 32 to 89.
    I also posted a warning.

I actually reported it by clicking that triangular sign next to "on/offline". Don't know where my post went to.

    Re: suneeshv's links are virus-infected

It goes to admins/moderators though I believe only admins have the power to ban profiles?

But since the posts contained a virus infected link, and the amount of posts was rather extensive, including all recent threads in this forum, I thought it prudent to issue a general warning here, just like Frog did in Viewfinder. I was stupid enough to click on the linking, thinking it would be photos of ducklings....:blush2: so I figured others might too and maybe not everyone would have the right virus protection. But I gather this has been one of the worst attacks PR has ever experienced.

Thanks for the warning, Mette & Frog.

I was actually sleeping when this happened, not that I could have done anything other than report each post.

As soon I got online I had this HUGE list of email thread-reply notifications, each had the same username, which had me immediately had me a bit suspicious.
